Nan Kunz Jessop, 82, beloved by many, passed away, surrounded by loving family on Sunday, September 19, 2021.

In 1954, Nan joined James and Thelma Jessop as partners in life and began a wonderful life journey together. As a dedicated wife and mother, Nan's greatest accomplishment was her family. Whether you were a new acquaintance or a lifelong friend, it never took long for her to begin talking about her family; we were her greatest joy and blessing. Mom lived her life in service to us and others. She loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was a living example of its principles. She taught us to love God, love one another, and to go the extra mile.

As a skilled seamstress, Mom created many beautiful dresses and was a fairy-godmother to many a young bride. Her sewing machine brought both income and many friends throughout the years. Her custom creations, made with loving care, resulted in lifelong friends in just about everyone who came to her door. She truly has been the thread of life that has kept us all together.

Over the years, she nursed and cared for both old and young. As a wonderful midwife, she loved to see each precious baby come into this world and provided tender care to both mother and infant.

Mom's life was one of service and dedication, and her love and loyalty to Dad were exemplary. We are sure her reunion with him, her parents, and our Savior was a glorious sight.

Her posterity truly calls her blessed.

Matt 23:11 But [she] who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

Nan is survived by her sister Millie, her 13 children: Rachel, Dan, Esther, Rosemary, Norma, Bob, Rich, Lew, Ryan, Glen, Lillian, Kathleen, Ellie; 4 of Thel's children: Kris, Margaret, Matt, Barbara; her children's spouses and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
