Mondis Borhanjoo Nkoy

On December 5th, 2021, we lost our beloved Mondis Borhanjoo Nkoy at the age of 57 to a long battle with cancer. Born in Tehran, Iran, Mondis migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah where she lived for the last 38 years. She attended Westminster College and graduated from the University of Utah in 1993. Mondis was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister who touched the lives of many with her kindness, positive spirit, and caring personality. What she cherished most in life was helping others, especially those who did not have a voice. Mondis is survived by her husband, daughters, parents, and brothers. Her Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, December 12th from 6-9 pm at the Benvegnu Center at St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 13th: church service from 12 pm - 1:30 pm at St. Vincent de Paul, burial from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm at Memorial Holladay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choosing.
