Milton A Walters passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the age of 77.

Milt was born in Rexburg, Idaho on November 21, 1944 to Adrian Walters and Lela Anderson Walters. Growing up he split time between living with his mother, step-father, Robert MacKnight, and brother, Jim MacKnight, in southern California during the school year and living with his Grandma and Grandpa Anderson in Rexburg, Idaho during the summers.

Milt was a gifted and accomplished musician. Music helped lead him to the love of his life, Sandra Kay Walters. They married in 1970 in Hacienda Heights, California, and eventually moved their family to West Jordan, Utah in 1980 where they raised their three children. He was a salesman for most of his professional career and was recognized as a top national performer on several occasions.

Milt had many hobbies and passions including being on ski patrol and ski instructor, black belt in karate and sensei, camping, motorcycling, ATVing, avid golfer (had 3 holes-in-one), gun collector, shooting enthusiast, and scuba diving instructor. He loved serving in the Jordan River Temple.

Milton is survived by his wife Sandra, children Michael (Haize), Thomas (Denise), and Tamara (Scott), and his grandchildren Mia, Indie, Lillian, Bryton, Ellie, Kyle, and Colby. He was preceded in death by his father Adrian, mother Lela, step-father Robert, and Grandma and Grandpa Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2901 West 9000 South, West Jordan, Utah 84088. Viewing at 9:00-10:45 AM and funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery.
