Michael was born on July 4, 1983 in Salt Lake City, UT to Michael Rees Robinson, Sr & Debra Ann (Kennington) Robinson.

From an early age, Mike loved to go fishing (all kinds of fishing), four-wheeling, and camping. He loved to be outdoors. The love of the outdoors was passed to his daughter Aspyn. Who loved to play in the mud with dad. Mike loved his sports. He was a Utah Jazz, Utah Utes, and Jacksonville Jaguars fan. He loved to take his daughter to Jazz games and go with buddies on nights he didn't have his daughter. Mike loved music and loved going to concerts. Mike always liked to have fun.

Mike was a great dad. He was the best daddy. Aspyn was the light of his life and he was her hero. Mike and Aspyn loved to go on adventures together. Going to the zoo, aquarium, catching Pokemon were some of their favorites. They also enjoyed quiet time just daddy and Aspyn. They would cuddle up and watch all sorts of movies. They really had a special bond.

Mike was also a beloved uncle to all his nieces and nephews more often referred to as "Uncle Monkey". All the kids wanted to be with Uncle Monkey because he played Pokemon Go, played on the trampoline, or whatever the kids wanted to do. Mike was a big kid himself and all the kids loved it.

Mike was a friend to all. He always had a warm smile and a "Hi Sunshine" for everyone. He was always a phone call away from someone who needed a listening ear. Mike was always there with a big bear hug or words to uplift you and cheer you on.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Aspyn, parents Michael Sr and Deb, brothers Jay and Scott. Nieces Maddie, Payton, Brynn and Kenzie. He is preceded in death by his Grandma Mary Zismer, Grandpa Duane Whittle, Grandpa Don Robinson, Grandma Verna Robinson, Uncle Bob Kennington, and Uncle Brent Kennington.

Mike,

I don’t even know where to begin. You’ve been the bestest friend a girl could ask for. You were always there when I needed you and you were always there to stop in and say hi. You gave the best advice, hugs and knew all the best places to hike and fish. You even made sure that I didn’t miss one year of the state fair. I thank you so much for the time we spent together making epic memories. There wasn’t much we didn’t do together from hikes, bees games, Utes games, the fair, driving around in your truck, texting and venting, kareoke, the list goes on and one. However, Our castle marathons were always a pleasure to watch with you, laughing when Richard Castle would think he’s so cool and just get shot down by Kate Beckett. Your laugh was so contagious, your presence was warming and no matter what you were always making sure we were having a good time. I feel like I’ve lost more than a friend, you meant more to me than that you were like the little brother I never had. I’ve watched you go from happiness to heartbreak, to happiness again. Getting married, having a baby and having the pleasure of watching your daughter turn into the beautiful young woman that she is. I’m going to miss our FaceTime chats and being able to talk to aspyn about what your plans are for the weekend, how school is going and hearing all about her life. I’m going to miss you, it’s been hard to accept the fact that you’re really gone. I look to the heavens and ask where you are, and every time without missing a beat a star appears and I know it’s you. Thank you for bringing me comfort in the toughest time of my life. You said you would always be there and you’re still sticking to your word. I love you, sir and I will miss you so much. I was very blessed to have you in my life for almost a 1/3 of my life and for that I’m grateful. Fly high my friend, and I know I’ll be seeing you again. Love you ❤️

Working and know nugget was a privilege. He always had a smile and a hug for me. He was like a brother to me. He was always out fishing, camping, four wheeling, or just outdoors. I remember being called on one of my anniversaries when I was married to my ex for a 4 wheeling accident he has. To this day I am so glad he made it out of the hospital alive. This is one of the saddest years ever. I will miss his text talking about dating and the girls he was interested in, all outdoor stories etc.. Rest In Peace nugget. I will always miss you. 🫂
