Devoted husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Joe Clements age 81 passed away peacefully March 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born July 15, 1940, to Merland D. and Vera A. Landon Clements. In March of 1963, he married the love of his life Lynda A. He magnified his callings especially in the scouting program and hunter safety.

Joe had a zest for life and loved his family most of all. He had 4 incredible children, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many “adopted” children & grandchildren.

Joe had a love for building and restoring cars, which led to a lifelong occupation of master mechanic and welder. He really enjoyed the outdoors. He liked motorcycles, fast cars, wood working and a great passion for model trains which led to the opening of Model Railroad Station (MRS) Hobby Shop in 1984. He was very dedicated & ambitious in all that he did.

Joe had an infectious personality & kindness towards others that was above the norm. He always shared a smile or gave loving affection toward others familiar & not. He was known for his non-judgmental & very gracious example. His compassionate & loving heart permeated & touched so many lives.

His favorite phrase was, “It will feel better as soon as it quits hurting”, and we’re thankful he’s no longer hurting.

We will forever cherish him, his love, his example & legacy.

Joe is proceeded in death by his parents, brothers, Buddy & Gene Clements, daughter, Christyna Turner, and granddaughter, Morgan Clements.

He is survived by his eternal companion & wife, Lynda of 59 amazing years, brother, Bryan (Kathleen) Clements.

Children, Lynda Jo (Tim) Cherniske, Doug (April) Clements, Dennis (Cherish) Clements, Kurt Clements, Craig Turner, Gail (Don) Grasseth.
