Maurice Patterson, 90, passed away on May 3, 2022, in Alpine, UT.

Maurice was born in Salt Lake City, UT on December 1, 1931, to Robert Patterson and Eudora Tuttle.

Maurice married Eva Georgi on May 2, 1958, in the Salt Lake City, Utah, Temple. Maurice proudly served his country in the Navy. While in the Navy, he played on the 1st Navy basketball team. He was a skilled carpenter and took pride in his work and craftsmanship. He also loved the mountains, archery and hunting. He continues to hold a Pope and Young record for a non-typical mule deer. But most importantly, he loved his family and spending time with them.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Lance (Karen) Patterson, Jill (Charles) Dowse, Eva Le (Chris) Davis, Dawn (Greg) Peterson, NicKol (Tyler) Kindle; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his siblings Edward (Francis) Patterson and Letitia Marshall.

Maurice is preceded in death by his loving wife, Eva Georgi Patterson and his parents, Robert Patterson and Eudora Tuttle Patterson.

The graveside service for Maurice Patterson will be held on Saturday, May 7, at 10:00 AM at Alpine Cemetery, 400 Grove Dr. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 8:45 AM-9:45 AM at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Lone Peak Chapel, 6141 W Timpanogos Hwy, Highland, UT.
