Mary Darlene Sargent, age 79, passed away on March 25, 2023, in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born on July 10, 1943, to Charles and Margaret Dunn. Mary married the love of her life LeRoy Bates Sargent on August 25, 1961.

Mary was known for her love of reading, her devotion to her church, and her unwavering love for her husband, family, and her pets. She will be missed very much.

She is survived by her sister Gloria, and two brothers, Ivan, and Gary. She is preceded in death by her loving husband LeRoy Bates Sargent.

A Graveside service for Mary will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
