Mark Elmer Johnson

December 3, 1972 – September 19, 2025

Mark Elmer Johnson was born on December 3, 1972, in St. George, Utah, to Mark Woodruff Johnson and Chree Willingham, both of whom preceded him in death. He passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025.

Mark is survived by his six children: Mark Johnson, Celeste Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Kaycee Johnson, and Cole Dee Johnson. He was a grandfather to five grandsons and one granddaughter. He also leaves behind three sisters: Betty Robertson, Chree Doyle, and Daisy Johnson.

Mark grew up in Hurricane, Utah, and spent most of his life in the surrounding area. He was known for his strong work ethic and exceptional skill in finishing concrete—a craft he learned from his father. In recent years, Mark faced numerous health challenges, including multiple back surgeries and a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Despite these hardships, Mark found joy in simple pleasures: fishing, playing cards, and taking scenic rides with his close friend Cobe.

Mark was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
