Mark Cameron Anderson, aged 51, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 8, 2023 in Provo Utah. He was born on April 19, 1972 in Kankakee, Illinois to Lawrence Oliver Anderson and Sandra Daryl Working.

Mark treasured his time in the Wings of Change karate dojo in which he earned his most treasured possession, a brown belt. He served at the Salt Lake City Temple in the baptistry for many years which made him very happy. Mark valiantly fought juvenile diabetes from the age of 12, and dealt with seizures and end stage kidney failure in his final years. He had a hard life full of pain and sorrow, but had finally found peace and had many friends in his church and in his long term care facilities that made him happy at the end.

Mark is survived by his sisters: Laureen Anderson Perkins, Julianne Anderson, Heather Anderson (Matthew) Ownby, and Rebecca Anderson. Preceded in death by father Larry Anderson and mother Sandie Working Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00- 12:00 at the LDS church house at 6593 West Herriman Blvd in Herriman Utah.
