Marion Anna Fenn left her earthly home on July 18, 2022, to be with her Lord and Savior whom she loved. She was born on July 2, 1932, in Williston, ND to Hammid and Sadie (Abdo) George.

She was raised in Williston, North Dakota with Mother Sadie and sisters Lily and Rosie where she attended grade school after which she left for college in Walla Walla, WA. Upon returning to Williston, she met and married Therlow R. Fenn in 1954. Soon after, they followed the oil fields to Texas and eventually settled in Salt Lake City.

Mom raised a family of four children but was always willing to help other young people by giving them a temporary home. As a family, we had our ups and downs but never doubted mom’s love for any of us.

Mom loved the LORD! She exemplified Christ in everything and lived her life in service to others bringing hospitality, cheer, and joy to all she met. If you ever experienced mom, you also experienced a “Bless Your Heart” with a big hug and kiss.

She was a charter member of Central Church of the Nazarene and served in several capacities. In the mid to late 1970’s, mom joined the work force with Servi-Tech where she enjoyed being a bookkeeper until she retired.

She loved the old gospel hymns and country music. She openly and often sang both loudly… at any time with anyone!

Mom is survived by her son George (Jackie), son Darryl (Wendy), and daughter Kendra, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Many thanks go to all the workers at Legacy Village in Taylorsville and Active Hospice for all their care and compassion.

Marion always made me feel right at home, "another mother" of sorts. She truly epitomized the love of God we each should have. You will be truly missed.

Auntie Marion was my other favorite auntie. So filled with the love of Jesus. She made a huge impact on my life in many ways. What a prayer warrior she was. So many fond memories. She will be dearly missed. Love you auntie. Give grandma Sadie, auntie Rosie, and my mom a big hug. See y’all soon.

I loved Marion. She and I loved to sing together. She loved everyone she met. Always had a hug and kiss. Roger liked to call her Marion The Librarian. She is now with Jesus & her family who have gone on before her! What a reunion!!!
