Margaret Havener Johnston

Margaret Havener Johnston, age 99, passed away on December 24, 2020, in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born on October 15, 1921, in Roberts, Illinois, to Tenjus and Doris Havener. She married Warren Johnston on June 16, 1945.

Margaret was an accomplished homemaker. She loved knitting, particularly making afghans for family members, as well as sewing and working on home projects.

She is survived by son Kevin (DeAnn) Johnston, daughter Rebecca (Bruce) Garfield, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren Johnston, her parents, Tenjus and Doris Havener, and her sister, Betty Zebrun.
