Lynn Leonard Langton

Lynn Leonard Langton passed away at his home at the age of 80 on May 7, 2023, in Magna, Utah with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 21, 1942, to Arthur Melvin Langton and Eliza Marguerite Evans Langton in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Charlotte Gutierrez in 1962 and had two children; Larry Leonard Langton and Stacy Leigh Langton and they later divorced. He then met and married his sweetheart, Kelly J. Cordova in 1982. Kelly had three sons and a daughter whom Lynn loved as if they were his own.

Lynn enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, watching football and baseball. Gambling in Wendover was one of his favorite hobbies! Camping and being outdoors with his family and friends were some of his favorite times. He also enjoyed Marlin fishing in Cabo San Lucas while vacationing. He loved a nice cold beer while he socialized with his family and friends at the Redwood Lounge. Country music, especially Chris LaDoux, was his favorite music to listen to. Lynn enjoyed his career as a local truck driver for 42 years.

He is survived by his son, Larry Leonard Langton, grandsons: Gilbert (Michelle) Montano and Nicholas (Tamika) Montano, Scooby the Dog, stepchildren: Brian (Hollie) Cordova, Rebecca (Jerry) Cordova Smith, Jeff Cordova and many other grand and great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Dawn Anderson.

Lynn is preceded in death by parents Arthur and Eliza Langton, his loving wife, Kelly J. Langton, brothers: Evan Dean Hamilton, David Harry Langton, Melvin Arthur Langton, and sister Carol Jean Langton Larsen, his daughter, Stacy Leigh Langton Zapata, and stepson, Paul Cordova.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM with a viewing held two hours prior beginning at 12:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Interment will immediately follow at the same location.

Lynn will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
