Lyle Quinn Rasmussen, age 63, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, in Salt Lake City due to complications of liver disease.  He was born April 23, 1957, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Virginia Keveren Scholes and Kenneth Lloyd Rasmussen.

He was preceded in death by his parents (Kenneth and Virginia), and father in-law (Leonard Cook).  He is survived by his wife (Tina); his children (Chambrae, Dakota, and Dawson); his siblings (Kenneth, Jeannine, Brent, Steven, Lucinda, Dana, and David) and their spouses/significant others; his in-laws (Kirk and Firlene Barton), (Kris and Jeff Haley); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

We are so heartbroken to hear about our sweet friend Lyle💔 Oh how we will miss him.. He was our Home Teacher for years, became a close friend of ours. He came like clockwork every month. We shared alot of stories and many laughs with him & his son. Always talked to him by the fence on our walks. Even when the wards divided and change took place, we always told him we still thought of him as our Home Teacher.. I remember when we had a little family basketball competition over at the Church.. It was a lot of fun! We love & adore his family as well. Our love & Prayers are with them at this time.. Until we meet again dear friend.💖

Lyle has always demonstrated quiet, dedicated service in all the years we have know him. His efforts were focused on his family, his faith, and meaningful work. Lyle has left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him by his unabashed approach to his convictions. In a world swayed by varying winds of persuasions, Lyle stood in holy places.
