Luelma’s mother passed away when she was only five years old. When she was six her father married Crystal Hill and they had 11 children. Luelma was married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 3, 1954 to Kenneth Paul Spencer. She was a faithful and righteous woman who loved the Lord and spent countless hours serving and blessing others. She served as a missionary in the Southern States Mission, and served three other church missions with Kenneth to Scotland, Germany, and Ohio. She served in numerous church callings and served for over 20 years as a temple worker where at least once a week she and Ken would arise before 4:00 am to get to the temple on time. She loved playing the piano. Studying the gospel and being with family were Luelma’s first priorities. We love our mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend. We will miss her.
