Lois Jean Bracken passed away at her home on August 25, 2020. The youngest daughter of six children, she is survived by two brothers Arden and Doug, four children, Rick, Jeff, Mike, and Vince. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Richard (Dick) Bracken and daughter Dana Lee Andersen. She was a firm believer in the LDS faith. She never failed to light up when the toddlers and infants were around. She will be greatly missed.

I have had the honor of knowing MANY members of the Bracken family since first meeting Vince back in 1984.
If you know the Brackens, then you know that each member is nothing but kind, supportive and giving of heart. And this type of character never happens in isolation or as some sort of miracle. It comes by way of example and strong, thoughtful teaching from remarkable individuals like Mr. and Mrs. Bracken.
While I could not be sorrier for this tremendous loss, I could not be happier over the legacy that continues in Mr. and Mrs. Bracken’s name.
For proof of this, look no further than when ANY member of the Bracken family sees another and immediately connects to make their love and adoration for each other obvious. Just listen as Brackens talk and share stories and you’ll immediately become awash in the delight and joy for each other's company. And for those fortunate enough to know them as friends, you quickly realize that you are just as equally welcomed and loved. It is truly a gift and one they all share freely each and every day with those around them.
Perhaps even more impressive is how Mrs. Bracken is the ONLY woman I have ever known to coerce a ride home from Wal-Mart employees following a shopping trip at one of their superstores. How can you not admire such tenacity paired with such goodwill?
Mrs. Bracken was one of a kind and I am deeply sorry for her passing, but so appreciative of my time shared with her as well as her family.
I loved Aunt Lois so very much. When her husband‘s Texas family would come to visit she always welcomed us with open arms. We stayed with Aunt Lois and Uncle Dick every time we came to visit. I came and stayed with them for a month when I was 13 years old. Brave Aunt Lois! Spending time with her recently at Dana’s celebration of life was such a gift
