Lilly Solipo Moeai

Apr 21, 1953 Jan 24, 2024

Lilly Solipo Moeai, 70, passed away in her home in St. George, Utah on January 24, 2024, due to

natural causes.

Lilly was born to Tuavale Solipo & Sigalu Brown on April 21, 1953, in Moto’otua, Apia, Western Samoa. At a young age, Lilly’s parents immigrated their family from Western Samoa to Laie, Hawaii where she attended Laie Elementary and graduated from Kahuku High School in 1972.

Shortly after, she married her eternal companion, Fesuia’i Mika Moeai, and together they had 3 boys - Andy, Jarvi, and Weslee. After a few career opportunities, she eventually found her calling as an Individual Tax Preparer. She opened her own tax preparation business which she still owned and operated in St. George at the time of her passing. She proudly provided services to her clients for over 30+ years.

She enjoyed serving in her callings as the Bloomington 9th (Samoan) Ward Librarian and a Temple Worker in the St George Temple. She loved the gospel and lived her life emulating Jesus Christ; showing genuine, unconditional, love and giving service to all those she came across. When she wasn’t fulfilling her church callings, Lilly loved spending time with her family – her siblings, nieces/nephews, and cousins… but most especially her children and grandchildren. Lilly would also often be found hanging out and talking stories with her friends.

She is survived by her 3 sons and their wives: Andy and Milika, Jarvi and Kim, Weslee and Eni; 15 Grandchildren: Giovann (Moses), Weslee (Kaena), Noa (Nesi), Ho’wun, Makiah, Breana, AJ, Jada, Jordan, Malie, Meletiave, Malosi, Fesuia’i, Jarvi, and Temutisa; 4 Great Grandchildren Marceus, Maire-Jayne, Kingston, and Aaliyah; 3 sisters: Tausaga, Mary, and Sigalu; and 3 brothers: Lealofi, Curry, and Teleni. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fesuia’i; her reat-Granddaughter, Morrigan; her brothers, Lealofi and Thompson; and her parents, Tuavale Solipo and Sigalu Brown.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8th at the Bloomington 9th (Samoan) Ward Chapel (3519 Manzanita Rd). Family Viewing will begin at 9am, followed by a public viewing at 1030am, and a Bishop’s service at 12pm. Interment will be held at Tonaquint Cemetery following the services.
