Despite his difficult childhood, he maintained a sense of humor, was friendly, athletic, artistic and resilient.

He was a competitive swimmer for the Los Alamos Aquatomics from ages 7-10.

His favorite subject was history.

His favorite color was red.

He is survived by his daughter Angelina Justine Jaquez.

He has 4 brothers , 2 sisters, 2 nieces.

His remains were interred at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Espanola, New Mexico.
