Lee Marcus Hunsaker

Dec 15, 1941 Sep 7, 2025

Lee Marcus Hunsaker, age 83, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in St. George,

Utah, after a brave four-year battle with cancer. He is now reunited with those who have gone before him, awaiting him with open arms.

Born on December 15, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Marcus Lee and Nola Mae Hunsaker, Lee was raised in a family full of love and dedication. He graduated from West High School, and on April 27, 1962, he married his eternal companion, Rochelle Pearson. Their marriage was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple, and together they were blessed with three daughters: Sherrilee, Holly, and Melodee.

Lee was known for his hard work and passion in everything he did. He began his career as a glazier with A-1 Quality Glass and later transitioned into an account representative, where he built lifelong friendships. Lee eventually opened his own company, A-Accurate Glass, and earned a reputation for excellence in the industry. Though many companies sought his expertise, Lee chose to continue his work and retired at the age of seventy. He was a true perfectionist—whether fixing things around the house, tying flies for fishing, or ensuring his yard and home were impeccable. Lee was also a passionate golfer and fisherman. One of his favorite holiday traditions was wrapping presents in such a way that it took forever to reach the gift inside.

Lee was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived his life with kindness, integrity, and dedication.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Nola Mae, and his sisters: Colleen, Leah, Ruth, and Nola Mae. Lee is survived by his brother Ray, his loving wife Rochelle, his three daughters—Sherrilee (David) Eichelberger, Holly Young, and Melodee (Jay) Johnson—and his grandchildren: Teisha (Matthew) Field, Breck (Mercedes) Eichelberger, Shelbee Johnson, Shaylee (Jake) Glover, and his great-grandchildren: Carmin, Ethan, Capri, Charlee, and Scottie.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary Cemetery, 3115 E. Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A viewing will take place from 1:00 to 1:45 PM, with the graveside service following at 2:00 PM.
