Leanna Michele Johnstun passed away on April 25, 2024 at her home in Sandy, Utah. Leanna was born on May 8, 1954 in Nuremberg, Germany to Jack Edwards and Colleen Hixon. Leanna grew up in Utah and graduated from West High School in 1972 where she made life-long friends. She married Dee W. Johnstun on July 29, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Leanna’s greatest joy was being a dedicated friend, wife, mother and grandmother. She loved going to all of the kids and grandkids’ sporting events and activities – rooting for them in the crowd. She took pride in her yard and would spend many of her weekends gardening. She had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, boating, and the beach. She loved to travel and explore anywhere a new adventure would take her. Leanna was a strong and fierce woman, always positive and never once complained even when things got tough.
