Lacey Noel Harris
September 7, 1993 - October 24, 2026
Our beloved wife, sister, daughter, mother, and friend passed away on October 24, 2026 in Murray, Utah, after a long battle with chronic health issues causing her pancreas to shut down. She was just 33 years old at the time of her passing. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on September 7, 1993, the third daughter born to Scott and Jeannette Atkinson Harris. She was raised in West Valley City, Utah. She graduated early from Granger High School in January of 2011.
Her life was a life of miracles. From the beginning, she had always been determined to learn and grow up way too fast. She taught herself to potty train at 1 year old. She learned from seeing her older sister Melissa being taught the process 1 time and refused to wear a diaper again. When she was at the age of 4, she had a little red wagon that she would drag behind her while she ran beside her older sisters, Sarah and Melissa, on their bikes. She didn't know how to ride a bike yet, but it didn't take long for her to learn. When she learned to ride her bike, she was 6 years old. As soon as she got the hang of it, she wouldn’t get off her bike, even to eat dinner. When she was 13 years old, she got run over, and when the doctors told her that she might not walk again, she was determined to show the doctors otherwise. Lacey regained the ability to walk in 6 to 12 months, proving those doctors wrong on every count. She was a funny, unique child with a free spirit. She was also a very strong, independent person and did not give a care in the world what others thought of her. When she was determined to do something, no one could stand in her way or change her mind.
Lacey was also a beloved friend to many and had the heart of a lion. She loved deeply, and her kindness was rare. She believed in people more than the average person. She could find the gold inside the heart of someone where many people had long stopped searching. She made friends with people that most would not because of this rare and exceptional talent. She truly was a gift to those around her.
When she was 18 years old, she met the love of her life, Joshua James Robinson. They got married on October 25, 2014. Together, Lacey and Josh raised their three children. Her first was born, Lilliann Ellie Robinson, who is currently 12 years old. Several years later, they had Bentley Richard Robinson (5), followed by their miracle baby, Mariann Claire Robinson (4). She loved being a mother and wife. She faced multiple challenges in becoming a mother and in caring for her family, but even with these challenges, she would set those aside and, with a smile, give you the advice you were seeking. She always was happy to help people; you could almost always find her with a smile plastered on her face.
She had many fun and adventurous jobs throughout her life. Starting at Lagoon in the games department. During the off seasons, she worked at T-Mobile as a sign holder and held multiple jobs in fast food, such as Little Caesars, La Frontera, and Carl’s Jr. With the help of her mother watching her children, she was able to provide a life of fun for her family. She also worked in customer service at Sundance Catalog. She was proud of Robert Redford and was honored to be part of the legacy he left behind. She loved animals and believed that chickens were her spirit animal.
Lacey was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the Lord, and her faith and spirit touched those around her. She was grateful to be able to listen to General Conference one final time before her passing and found great comfort in the messages she received from her Heavenly Father.
We are eternally grateful for the countless doctors, nurses, and other staff members at Intermountain Medical Center who helped Lacey over the past 9 months, and we appreciate all the care they gave her.
She is survived by her husband, Joshua, and their children Lilliann, Bentley, and Mariann. She is also survived by her parents, Scott and Jeannette Harris, sisters Sarah Louise Harris, Melissa Alice Calderon, Rebecca Dawn Harris, and six nieces and nephews, many cousins, and great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Bob and Renee Harris, and Grandpa Richard and Grandma Judy, her Aunt Sally, cousins Carla, Tyler, and Michael, her mother-in-law Buffy, and her best friend Holly. Many more loved ones had passed on before her, waiting to greet her in the afterlife.
Her memorial service will be held November 7, 2026, in West Valley City, Utah, at 2101 West 3100 South inside the LDS Chapel. Visitation begins at 12:00 PM, memorial services will begin promptly at 1:00 PM, followed by a luncheon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, generously provided by the Granger 25th Ward Relief Society.
Rest in Paradise, Lacey, until we meet again. We love you.
