Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Kristine (Krissy) Oakeson Rose passed peacefully at home and was reunited with her father, Kelly, on November 1, 2020. She was born October 4, 1967 in Murray, Utah to Kelly and Betty Oakeson and was the sister to Keleen, Dana and Vicki. They were a loving, happy family and enjoyed so many things together such as family outings, Lake Powell, and family parties where Krissy was always the life of the party. Kris attended West Jordan High School where she was a member of Dance Company and made life long friends, graduating in 1986.
She loved gardening, drawing, golfing with her sisters and had a great gift for decorating. Kris had a gift of loving everyone unconditionally, making everyone feel important and had a contagious laugh. The loss of Kris will leave a huge hole in our hearts.
Krissy met her one true love Bart Rose, and they were married April 20, 1990. Together they raised a loving and close family of two amazing boys Nic and Max Rose. Kris is survived by her husband Bart, Boys Nic and Max, Mother Betty Oakeson Millar, Sisters Keleen (Steve) Larsen, Dana (Russ) Ipson and Vicki (J.R) Baird. In laws Gary and Judy Rose, Sister in laws Michelle (Luke) Tapia, Vicki Rose, Holy Rose and Mrs. Vinny (her kitty). She is preceded in death by her father Kelly Russ Oakeson. On November 14th, there will be a celebration of Krissy's life. Location and time to be announced. Krissy's Mother and sisters would like to thank Bart and the boys for the special care they gave to Kris in her last days.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I never got the chance to meet your sweet Krissy- But felt as though I had, and like I kind of knew her a bit, through working with you two for so long!..
It is an apparent and undeniable truth that she is an irreplaceable gift of light and love- Whose absence and loss will be felt beyond measure within the lives of the countless people who loved her..

Wow!! I’m just so shocked. We were friends in High School and she was always very kind and nice to me despite me being a super nerd drama/ art kid. She was always sweet and amazing. I did not stay in touch much after high school and regret that now. She will be missed. Amazing person.
