Kris loved everyone she knew and they all loved her. She had beautiful sparkly green eyes and a contagious smile that drew the attention of everyone she came in contact with. She was humble and always willing to listen to those who needed an ear or shoulder to lean on. She was always up for an adventure, be it road trips, four-wheeling, hiking, swimming or staying at hotels, especially in the jacuzzi room. Her favorite place to hike was Millcreek canyon, enjoying the cool mountain breeze as well as the river. She was a very hard worker yet still made time for everyone that she cared about. There was always laughter, most of it coming from her, whether it be having bar-b-ques or backyard campfires.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in her West Valley home. She was taken from us way too soon.

She impacted everyone around her, especially the people she is survived by; her children that she loved so dearly; Kashaee Gonzales, Caasi Gonzales and Jaden Shannon, her mother, Debra Kernes, her brother, Darrell Adderley Jr., her sister, Stacy (Shane) Owens, her father, Bob (Tracy) Shannon, nephews Jordan and Nathan Owens as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Isaac Gonzales.

A celebration of Kris's life will be held at a later date.
