KRISTINA RAY JORDAN (Kris to those who knew her), finally found peace on Monday, December 28, 2020.
Born on May 1, 1975, to Raymond and Lonnie Jordan, Kris' bright blue eyes and charming smile immediately changed all our lives.
She grew up playing soccer and enjoyed the outdoors. She was a girl scout who sold cookies so she could go to Trefoil Ranch and ride horses every summer. She was an honors student and a typical teenager.
She loved horses, dogs and cats, video games, watching movies and TV and sleeping in the car while Dad drove to our latest camping destination or Disneyland.
Her love of knowledge and passion to help others, led her to graduate with a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and with a masters of Social Work from the University of Phoenix.
She worked at Marriott Reservations during her college, then at a halfway house for federal prisoners helping them return to living on the outside. Later, she worked with mentally challenged clients helping them become more independent, all the while fighting her personal battles.
Alcohol stole much of that spark and passion and sabotaged her plans for the future.
She is survived by her parents, step-mother Nora, sister Vanessa (Camron), and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence & Lola Jordan and Clifford & Donna Evans.
Her family would like to thank Natalie Walch for her guidance and support, and most of all for listening and caring.
We will be having a private funeral due to COVID-19,
Although she is no longer part of our lives, she lives forever in our minds and hearts.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Utah Food Bank or the Humane Society of Utah.

I worked with Kris at Geo she was always kind to me and sometimes I would sit in her office and talk to her. I’m so sad for your loss. My prayers are with her family and for her peace.
Ray and Nora, I am so sorry for your loss. I have heard you talk about Kristina and know you loved her very much. Sending you virtual hugs until I can hug you in person.
