Kim J Bodell, age 71, of Herriman, Utah, passed away December 16, 2020. Kim and his family were able to express their love and say goodbye. The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses at the University of Utah hospital for their compassion, concern, and caring efforts to give us the opportunity to say goodbye.
Kim was born August 24, 1949, in Murray, Utah, to Muril and Lottie (Palmer) Bodell. He married Donna Wilson on November 19, 1969. Kim served four years in the Air Force as a mechanic. He worked for Kennecott and retired after 38 years.
In Kim’s spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and moving things around with his tractor. He liked to go camping and was often heard saying, “This is just like camping out.” He loved trains and had quite a collection. He would never turn down a ride on any railroad. While playing card games as a family, Kim would often win and he may have been accused a time or two of cheating, though we are pretty sure he never did.
Kim loved his children and grandchildren and would do anything for them. The grandchildren loved going for rides either on the tractor, 4-wheeler, or side by side. They will sure miss their Papa.
Pa, we hope you know how much we love you, and you will be missed beyond measure.
P.S. Papa, you were right, “that was a little far-fetched.”

All good things
Dear Donna and family,
We were sorry to hear of Kim's passing. He was a good man with a great sense of humor. We were just like cousins growing up, he never really seemed like an Uncle! You have a wonderful family and he has left a great legacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and hope you can find peace and healing at this difficult time.
Love to all,
Dennis and Susan Stefanoff and family
