Kenneth Ernest Kettle, 79, of American Fork, passed away with his wife by his side in Provo, Utah March 16, 2020. Born May 29, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of George Hipkiss Kettle and Sarah Elizabeth Robinson. Ken married JoAnn Jorgensen October 12, 1961 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Ken loved photography, woodworking and building furniture. He was an avid scouter receiving his Eagle scout, Silver Beaver, Scout Master and was a counselor at WoodBadge for several years. He was a loving father who loved joking and having fun with his family. He was a civil engineer and worked for Mt. Fuel Supply (Dominion Energy) for 36 years. Ken served in the Utah Air National Guard for 37 years. He and JoAnn served a CES Mission in Missouri and a Church service mission in Salt Lake for 10 years. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn, children: Bryant(Karen) Kettle, Mark (Stephanie) Kettle, Scott (Sharon) Kettle, and Lorianne (George) Rowley 20 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and his brothers Warren Kettle and Gary Kettle. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Kent and a brother David Kettle. Family will be celebrating his life privately. I got to know Ken when he served in the Utah Air National Guard. He was a great asset to the Guard and his country. He always had a great disposition and was fun to be around. I send my sincere condolences to his wife and family.
