Kenneth F. Beatty age 62. Passed away on Thursday October 13th, 2022, in Sandy, Utah. He was born on March 25th, 1960, in Turlock, California to Fredrick G. and Tommie J. Beatty. Ken was the 3rd born of their 5 children. He spent many years as a young adult serving in the U.S Army. Soon after he was honorably discharged from the military, Ken moved to Utah, met the love of his life and married Kimberly D. Spainhower on August 27th, 1987, and started his family. They raised 4 beautiful children. He had many talents in life, he was a wonderful carpenter and an ordained minister. He loved the outdoors. He spent many years hunting and fishing. Ken loved his family more than anything and was always finding ways to spend quality time with them. He was a survivalist and taught anyone he knew, how to be prepared for anything. Ken was an amazing man and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his Brothers Kevin Beatty (Caleen), Jimmy Beatty (Elizabeth) and sisters Laurie Tucker (Jerrel) Karen Wagnor and his children, Mindy R. Beatty, Stephanie D. James (Randy James), Steven T. Beatty (Hailee), Matthew K. Beatty (Megan Gasienica) and his 13 grandchildren, Kyler, Kaden, Tayla, Anna, Alyxus, Mariah, Jaicie, Alexa, Georgia, Brooks, Haily, Jack, and Harrison. His dog Allie and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Father Fredrick Grant Beatty, Mother Tommie Jeannine Beatty and his wife Kimberly Dawn Beatty.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM with a closed casket visitation prior beginning at 9:30 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 S Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Interment will immediately follow at the same location.

A celebration of Ken’s life will follow by invite of the family.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes for contributions to be made to Stephanie James for assistance with expenses.
