Kaye Kellgreen

Dec 12, 1952 Jan 24, 2024

On the quiet evening of January 24th, 2024, with the moon’s light shining bright, surrounded by family and friends, with so much love, peace, and calm, Kaye Kellgreen returned home to the embrace of her dad, grandparents, relatives, friends, and Heavenly Father.

Kaye fought bravely for over a year to recover from a brain tumor and complications that followed.

Kaye was born in 1952. She has such a loving family, her parents Bud and June, three siblings and their spouses. Kaye loved being the “favorite“ aunt to ten nieces and nephews that she so dearly cherished. Kaye had numerous close friends, life long friends, (honorary family members actually) that meant the world to her, as she does to them.

Kaye was our loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and BFF. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with one of her favorite things being teaching and singing with the children in Primary. Kaye made you feel full of warmth and love. Her positive energy, compassion for others, and calming spirit were infectious. She was a person who had that “something” that “humanness” that made her one in a million. We are so grateful to have had that one in a million person in our lives. How lucky we are!

We owe a debt of gratitude to so many people who have helped Kaye and our family, and have been there for her this past year. She has had the constant support of friends, family, and her ward. The ward community has not only been there for Kaye, they have been a tremendous support to family and friends as well.

To all the wonderful healthcare professionals we have worked with in so many different settings, from the hospital, to rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing, memory care and hospice care, we can’t thank you enough for all your care and compassion as we navigated through this uncharted territory.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1830 East 6400 South, Murray, Utah. Viewing prior to the service at 10:00 am-12:15 pm. Interment will follow at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary and Cemetery, 3115 East Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, please support a charity of your choice, or the American Brain Tumor Association. Thank you dearly.

We love you Kaye!
