Kay Osborne (1/4/1956 - 12/9/2022) passed away in her home, surrounded by her family, succumbing to her 14 year's-long fight with scleroderma. Though Kay's prognosis was never positive, she never stopped fighting and was present in her family's lives to make many loving, lasting memories.

Kay was a tenacious woman, never afraid to get her hands dirty, do the hard work, or learn something completely new in order to accomplish her goals. She was driven and dedicated, a loving spouse and mother, with a wildly independent spirit that she passed to her daughters. Her thoughtfulness, intelligence, and willingness to give of herself will be missed every day.

Married to Randy in 1978, they spent every day of their marriage in love. While Randy never quite picked up Kay's love of horses, he was always supportive and indulgent. Kay, however, did pick up Randy's love of cars, winning bigger trophies than he did for the truck she restored (with a lot of his help.)

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Lucille Weidner, and two grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband, Randy Osborne, daughters Margaret (Jerry) Hokanson, Liza (Norm) Smith, Chantay (Phil Jensen) Osborne, and Brieanna (Wade Kriske) Osborne, brother Ron (Doris) Sudweeks and Lynn (Colin) Kammerer, as well as twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her dog Parker, and horse Spanky.

Per her wishes, and in tribute to her everlastingly generous spirit, her body will be donated to the University of Utah for research. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Scleroderma Research Foundation in Kay's honor (https://srfcure.org/). We love you, Mom.

Kay was a lovely neighbor with an AMAZING green thump. She was always so kind to my father and family. I am sure her presence will be missed by so many, you all are in our prayers.
