Kay M .Hunsaker, 79, of Murray, Utah, passed away on January 16, 2024. She was born on January 4, 1945, to Hyrum and Ruby Petersen in Holladay Utah.

Kay will be lovingly remembered by her son, Martin (Meredith) Telaroli, her daughter, Kristin Telaroli, her sons James (Kim) Telaroli and Michael (Amber) Telaroli, her sister Debra Ju, and brothers Brent and Kevin Petersen, and many other cherished family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Hunsaker, her father, Hyrum Petersen, her mother, Ruby Mortensen, her sister, Ramona Olsen and her brothers, Marlow, Gordon, and David Petersen.

In the sanctuary of her faith, Kay found solace and enlightenment. As a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she nurtured her spirit, drawing strength from the sacred teachings that resonated deep within her soul. Her reverence for all of creation, her unwavering respect for the divine plan, and her devotion were the cornerstones of her existence.

Her language of Love was giving. It was rare to visit her home without her sending you off with something at parting. Her laugh was infectious and her Hugs were meaningful and strong. She will be missed dearly by those that knew and loved her.

A celebration of Kay's life will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Her son’s home at 1082 S Waterside Drive Saratoga Springs Utah. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to honor Kay's memory and share their stories and memories.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Kay M. Hunsaker, a woman who touched the lives of those around her and will be deeply missed. May her humble spirit guide us.
