Katiola Tamasese age 66 passed away on January 9, 2023. She was born on November 26, 1956 in Te’ekiu, Tonga to Ofa Unu. She married Tolufale Tamasese on July 26, 1980 in Santa Ana, California.

Katiola was a simple woman, she had a strong, dedicated work ethic, and was always focused on the task at hand. She loved her family, God, and was dedicated to her church.

She is survived by her daughter Ruby Tamasese Sakaria, and her son, Hunter Tamasese. She was preceded in death by her husband Tolufale Tamasese, Viola Tamasese, Ofa, and Losiane Tamasese.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the Hunter 7th Ward 3665 South 6000 West, West Valley City, Utah. The family service will begin at 10 AM and will be followed by the bishops service beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
