Our loving wife, mom, grams, great grams, sister, aunt and friend Kathy, our angel, returned home peacefully to our Lord and her beautiful daughter on November 17th, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.
Kathy was born on July 28th,1958 in Frankfurt Germany to Wenfred E Morgan and Gloria Leon-Hernandez Morgan.
She married her true love Cornell A Woods Sr on April 9th, 1982. They had four children Gloria, Courtney, Lessie and Cornell Jr.
She enjoyed cooking her "secret" family recipes, especially tamales, gardening, birthdays, holidays, spoiling her grandchildren and anytime the family would get together. She loved her little get-aways to the casinos and her daytime TV shows.
Kathy was always willing to help anyone and listen to those who just needed someone to talk to. The most important thing to Kathy was being surrounded by family and friends who all just loved her fun, loving spirit and beautiful soul. She had deep and unconditional love and a special bond with each one of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
She worked at Frito Lay for many years and made many lifelong friends. She brought so much light and laughter to everyone she known. To know Kathy was to love her.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Cornell A Woods Sr, her loving daughters Yolanda Brown, Gloria (Davion) Pope, Courtney Woods, and her baby boy Cornell A Woods Jr. Grandchildren, Her Bear, Marcos, Felicia, Fagan, Avianna, Alissa, Kelise, Kyree, Khloe, Leyah, Lilian, Stella, Davina and Beatrice. Great Grandbabies Amirah, Amani, Kylan and Alijah. Her sister Yvonne Patton, brothers Steve (Lorie) Morgan and Gregg Erhard. Her sibling in laws the entire Woods Family. Many nieces and nephews that she just adored.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mom Gloria Leon-Hernandez Morgan, her beautiful baby girl Lessie Marie Woods, brother Robert Morgan. Sister-in-law Peggy Ann Woods and Josette Woods. Brother-in-law Jim Patton, and nephew Duane Jolley.
--- Kathy, you were truly an Angel here on earth, please continue to be our Angel in heaven, until we meet again, one sweet day ---
Special, special thank you to Sister-in-law Alece Charles for everything.
