Karen Sessions passed away on January 17, 2022. Her final days were spent surrounded by loving family and friends touched by Karen throughout her memorable life.

Karen was born on November 19th, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended West High School where she participated in the Pep Club and played tennis. She successfully retired from Hercules where she worked as an Executive Contract Administrator.

Karen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she faithfully served in various positions including Relief Society Instructor, Scribe to her husband, the Stake Patriarch, and an Ordinance Worker in the Jordan River Temple.

Karen married William Boyd Sessions in the Salt Lake City Temple on November 18th, 1995 where they were sealed together for time and eternity. Karen loved camping with her husband, bowling, making crafts by knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitch. She was an avid reader. She loved sports, especially football and basketball, and would attend Utah Jazz games with her husband. She especially loved watching the Utah vs. BYU football games where she would cheer for the Utes and her husband would cheer for the Cougars!

Leading and preparing the way, Karen is preceded in death by both her parents, Oscar & Thelma (Kinder) Andreasen; her husband, William Boyd Sessions; two sisters, Wanda King & Kathleen Whittle; one brother, Karl Andreasen; and two Step-sons, Don Irwin & DeWayne Sessions.
