Kalen was born October 5, 1957 in Idaho and was adopted by her loving parents Carol Kempton Park and Leonard Hooper Park.  She loved to spend time with her kids, her grandkids, writing poems for those she loved and music - she especially enjoyed the songs of Billy Joel and Elton John.  KaLen was a graduate of South High School and also a graduate of the University of Utah holding a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations and Communication.  She had many High School Classmates that remained lifelong friends.  KaLen had several sales positions throughout her life and was always very involved in her work.

KaLen is survived by her brother Douglas Kempton Park (Karen), children KymberLee Stritecky (Stephen Golding) , Jessica Stritecky, Shaun Mowery and Sharee Mowery Peck (Neal), and two Grandchildren Ireland and Piper (Shaun Mowery).  KaLen was preceded in death by her Parents Carol Kempton and Leonard Hooper Park.

Special thanks to her cousin Greg Loosli and Aunt and Uncle Linda and Gary McKinnon for their caring and blessings and special kindness for KaLen during the last years of her life.

We will miss her sparkling eyes and infectious smile and the love she generously gave to everyone. She has left a hole in our hearts that won't be filled until we are with her again.  We will miss you Mama Bear.

A celebration of life is pending and will be held in the near future and please contact Family members for the date and time.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made to the Charity of their choice in memory of KaLen.
