Julian Antonio Galicia, age 84, passed away on January 31, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on December 3, 1936 in Ecatepec De Morelos, Mexico to Rumualdo Galicia and Juana Rizo. He married Dorita Galicia.

Julian graduated in his country, Mexico, and decided to move to the United States of America where he started to have a wealthier life. He loved the natural nature, fishing, hunting, camping, and spending every time possible with his loved ones.

He is survived by his brother, Virgilio Galicia, his daughters, Beatriz Galicia, Lily Galicia, his sons Jaime Galicia, Edwin Galicia, Alex Galicia, and Elizandro Jimenez. Grandchildren Julio Fuentes, Darleny Fuentes, Douglas Galicia, Johnny Leyva, Steffanie Leyva, Joel Leyva, Hannssel Orozco, Luigui Orozco, Samy Orozco, Brandon Galicia, Bryant Galicia, Handerson Galicia, Edwing Galicia, Doris Galicia, and Melissa Galicia. His great grandchildren, Dominic Fuentes, Sophia Fuentes, Andrik Pacheco, Aubrey Galicia, Alejandra Galicia, Juliana Fuentes, Hannssel Orozco Jr, Benny Orozco, and Lily Orozco.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Antonio Galicia, Alfonso Galicia, his wife, Dorita Galicia, sisters Maria Galicia, and Lencha Galicia.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Viewing will be held prior from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at the same location.
