Judy Allred

Jun 23, 1945 Dec 30, 2022

Judy B. Allred passed away peacefully December 30, 2022 in Murray, Utah.

Judy was born June 23, 1945 in Provo, Utah to George Hagen and Wanda Forsyth Boel. The Boel family moved from Springville, Utah to Salt Lake City in 1953.

Judy met her lifelong love, Thomas (Tom) Allred while working at Auerbach's Department Store in Salt Lake City. They were married September 10, 1964 and spent 58 years by each other's side. Together they raised two sons, Tom Jr. and Travis.

Judy loved THE UTES!, the Yankees (she cherished her Derek Jeter jersey), Yoda (quite like him, she was), the flowers that she grew in the yard and camping, fishing with her family. Most of all, Judy loved her family and the time she was able to spend with them. They brought her joy and happiness. She enjoyed backyard barbecues with family and friends. Mom gave all to those she loved and always put others before herself. She was truly one of a kind!

I Love a, Love a You!

Judy had many physical challenges in her life. She faced each one head on with an incredible strength and courage. She was an inspiration to all that knew her.

Judy worked for LDS Church Printing Services (Deseret Binding) for over 30 years and retired in September of 2007. She enjoyed the printing business and was proud of what she was able to accomplish.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survived by her loving husband Tom; Sons Tom Jr. (Kim), Travis (Tammy); Grandchildren Jake (Rachel), Caleb (Erin), Shelby, Katelyn, Aidan; Great grandchildren Jaxon, Amity and Cooper; Sister Kathleen Parrish; Sister in law Susan Boel.

Preceded in death by her parents; Brothers Danny Boel, Bill Boel; Sister Marilyn; Brother in laws Brent Jones, Pete Parrish.

As per Judy's wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life in the spring. Friends and family will be notified of date and location.

The Allred family wishes to thank Inspiration Home Health & Hospice and Intermountain Medical Center for the kindness and care they have provided.
