Joyce Wong Lee

Joyce Wong Lee was born on November 13th, 1932 in Canton, China during the Japanese invasion. She had lost both of her parents at a very tender age and was raised by her paternal grandmother until she was 6. She moved to Hong Kong in 1950. She married Kam Bong Lee in April 1952. Together they had 5 children. Anna, Jack, Paul, Toni and Peter. The family immigrated to the United States on November 26th, 1969. Through her children and their spouses. Joyce has 19 wonderful grandchildren and 26 adorable great-grandchildren. They have filled her life with much joy.

Joyce was a great cook and enjoyed providing a delicious feast for her loved ones during the holidays. She enjoyed fishing with her husband. Each year she would plant a beautiful vegetable garden and fed her family with its fresh bounties. She enjoyed many hours of fun playing mahjong with her friends and family. She worked as a seamstress for 20 years before retiring. More importantly, Joyce became a born again Christian in 2005 and she loved reading from the scriptures and was faithful with her daily prayers. She had a great love for God. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
