John "Jack" Raymer

Jack Raymer 90 of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on April 11, 2024. He was born on February 13, 1934, in Utica, New York.

Jack, a former Marine from 1953 to 1956, dedicated over 35 years to Unisys, culminating his career as Director of Manufacturing. He was known for his dedication and hard work in his profession.

Described as kind, witty, caring, loving and intelligent. Jack enjoyed reading, building puzzles, yard work, carpentry, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. He was also known as the neighborhood "candy man" spreading joy with his treats.

Jack is survived by Joyce, his loving wife of 67 years. His children Kym (Dudley) Hunsaker, Suzanne (Scott) Seiter, John (Mari) Raymer, Kristen (Bryan) Stiefvater, eight beloved grandchildren and ten adored great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Ron Raymer. He was preceded in death by his parents Helen and James Franke, his brother Bill Raymer, sister Sue Bell and son Kurt.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, April 20 between 11:00am and 12:00pm, followed by a Mass from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, 3015 East Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights, 84093. The interment will take place at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, located at 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.), Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121 at 1:30pm.

Jack Raymer will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
