John Clarence Peterson age 78 passed away at his home on April 16, 2023 surrounded by his

family and loved ones. He was born on October 15, 1944 in Sterling, Utah to Clarence and

Charlotte (Barney) Peterson. He married Patricia Rosalee Ericksen June 15,1962 in Mt.

Pleasant, Utah, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple on June 18th,

1993. He was raised and educated in Ephraim, Utah and attended High School in Manti, Utah.

“John was a friend to all and will truly be missed. We will always remember you Dad!”

He enjoyed Farming, working with animals, hauling hay, camping, fishing, hunting, riding horses

and spending time with family and friends. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus

Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in many capacities. John is survived by his wife Bobi

Peterson of Ephraim, Utah and children Jeanette (Bob), Russel (Elisa), Rosemarie (Mike), Julie

(Chance) Stanton (Alexis), Nikki, Amber (Mark), Joey (Danelle), Dawn (Ryan), 29 grandchildren,

and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers, 1

daughter, and 1 son. Viewing will be held on Friday April 21st at 6-8pm, and Saturday the 22nd

at 11-12:30, funeral will be held at 1:00 at the Ephraim Stake Center. Internment will be held at

the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
