Joel Daniel De La Cruz, car salesman and lifelong resident of West Jordan, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2021.

He is survived by his parents, Joel and Monica De La Cruz, and his sister Mona.

Joel was born October 8, 1984. He was an accomplished car salesman and recently received an award for top salesman at his location for the year.

Joel was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and beloved friend.

Joel was a kind-hearted, happy, and genuine soul. He was known as a leader and role model who brought motivation, positivity, and encouragement wherever he went. Joel was known for his sweet generosity, his empathic and uplifting spirit, his uplifting attitude and his passionate expression. He had the most contagious smile and boisterous laugh recognized by all he knew. He deeply loved each and every person in his life, and was loved by all he touched. He will be profoundly missed.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary with burial to follow. The services will be livestreamed via Zoom. Instructions on how to join the livestream can be found below:
