Born in Munich, Germany to Isabelle Myrick and Gene Snow, JoAnn passed away following an extended illness on February 28th, 2021. JoAnn was a bold, passionate woman who loved her friends and family fiercely. She drew people to her that were attracted by her loyalty, sense of humor, acceptance and warmth. JoAnn was not someone easily forgotten or unnoticeable. She had a loud, hearty laugh, a strong opinion about everything and a bright, welcoming personality. She will be remembered for her strong sense of justice and right and wrong, her love of her children and grandchild and the Green Bay Packers. She is survived by her sister Michelle (Kevin) Waltz, brother Gene (Vivian) Snow, brother Douglas (Vickie) Barney, sister Pat (Jeff) Spencer, sister Sue An Barney, brother Jim Barney, brother Bret Barney, brother Craig Barney, cousins Barbara (Pete) Brown Roitz, LeRae Brown Swisher, son Jesse (April) Peery, daughter Randi (John) Peery, many friends who she treated like family and the love of her life, her grandson Hunter Jesse Peery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ACLU.
