I worked with JoAnn when she started losing vision. We had many talks about her success, struggles with blindness and her willingness to give new things a try. She was so kind and loved learning about others and wanting to share her gifts. I enjoyed the time I got to know her and Jerry in their homes. I am so happy she is reunited with her loving husband, I'm sad though that I won't here her beautiful words and voice for a time. I can hear her voice in my mind, I love her and she is missed.

JoAnn was the ultimate model of beauty, kindness, strength and musicianship! She was my vocal teacher, a mentor to me and an example of how to live my life. Her relationship with Jerry and her children was lovely and her testimony of the church was unshakeable. I was so lucky to know JoAnn and feel of her wonderful spirit. Rest in peace with your husband and flights of angels sing you to your rest!

I was fortunate to have training from JoAnn. I learned much from her and it made me a more confident teacher myself. Sending love to her family.
