With great sadness, we announce the passing of Joan E. Jones, 81, on January 19, 2023, with her children by her side in Eagle Mountain, Utah.

She was married to the late K. Wendell Jones and lived her life with a strong belief in God. She was a successful entrepreneur who founded Bidwell Maintenance Engineering and achieved great success despite the opposition of being a woman in a male-dominated industry. She was a true leader in her field and earned the respect of her colleagues and employees. Upon retirement, Joan discovered her passion for art and began creating beautiful commission pieces for friends and family.

Joan was also known for her ability to inspire others to be their best selves. Her belief in "everything being in perfect order" reflected her desire to bring harmony and balance to those around her. Her sense of humor and generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Joan is survived by four loving children, thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Joan's funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28, at 11:00 a.m. at 8273 Simpson Springs Road, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. The family will be available immediately preceding the service between 10:30 and 11:00 in lieu of a viewing.
