Jeffrey Alan Fox passed away on September 23, 2021 in North Salt Lake, UT after battling cancer. He is the son of Paul Kenneth and Jean Irene (Fernis) Fox. Jeff was born on September 7, 1956 in Waynesboro, VA. Jeff is little brother to David Paul Fox and Paula Jean Gibby. Jeff was raised in Waynesboro until he moved to Utah to attend Brigham Young University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. He was a loyal employee and held many jobs. Through his time at BYU, he worked at an auto parts store. He graduated and began working at Southern American Insurance in Provo, UT. He moved from there to American Express, then to Sallie Mae Bank, then CIT Bank, Comenity Bank and finished his career at Rakuten Bank.
Jeff has friends in almost every city he has traveled to and worked in. He was very friendly, personable, and loyal. He was a huge asset wherever he found himself. He loved to play and watch sports and to be outdoors. He loved his puppies; Reggie, DJ, Ego, Shasta, Rogue, Roxy, Simon and his bird Bandit. He was best friend to all his dogs. Jeff loved to travel, see new things and places. He was the glue for the Fox family. He was always concerned about others and did all he could for those around him. He was so service oriented and took such good care of his parents all their lives. He helped make a lot of lives happier and much easier with his big heart. He had stellar integrity and was the kindest person you ever met and had that wonderful smile.
Special thanks to the doctors at Huntsman Cancer Institute, and especially heartfelt gratitude to his best friend, Jeff Lutz. He stood by our Jeff, through thick and thin. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and all his aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David (LAREEN) Fox; sister and brother-in-law, Paula (Runar) Gibby; four nieces, one nephew, and seven great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday 10/4/21 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. A family and friends gathering will be held one hour prior on the same day at the same location.

I only met Jeff a handful of times, but in those few visits with him he made me laugh, smile and think. Our interaction was small and brief, but his impact on my life will be long-lasting and large!
