In Loving Memory of the most loving and amazing Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Great, Great Grandma, Sister and Aunt. Jeannine Hansen Barlow passed away peacefully surrounded by all of her 8 adult children and additional family members and friends on January 15th 2022. Jeannine was born April 17th 1936 to Leroy Albert Hansen and Lois Anna Maud Nickle in Marysvale Utah. As a young girl Jeannine spent time in Circleville and Monroe Utah. At 16 years old Jeannine married and was sealed to the love of her life Elroy Taylor Barlow in the Salt Lake Temple on January 16th 1953. Together they loved laughing, traveling, rides in the car, music and family. There was never a dull moment in our home and she loved every minute of it. Right up to her passing the room was full of family and friends, lots of spirited conversation and the music her and Dad had always shared. It is important to note Mom treasured her independence and never stopped moving with age. Mom grew flower gardens as she raised her family and always kept flowers in her home and in her yard. In her later years she lived at her daughter, Bonnie’s home and could hardly wait for Bonnie to leave for work so she could rule the roost and work as she wanted to work. Mom would often tell us how many bags of leaves she had gathered or how she had filled a garbage can with branches or a trailer with clippings and weeds. She made every effort to serve anyone she could and found value in hard work. She would work until she could not work any longer, rest and go to work again. She absolutely loved serving and all of us found value in that service. At the end of each day Mom would count the minutes until Bonnie was home again. Mom was known for giving everyone notes and cards telling those around her how much she loved them and appreciated the things everyone did for her. She made it a point to personally know all of her grandkids and great grandkids and each one thought they were her favorite. She was especially good at calling and letting us know it was “Just Mom” if she needed to leave a message. Mom had tremendous faith and always wanted to be found worthy in the eyes of the Savior Jesus Christ. Mom was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons and daughters, Elroy T. Jr. (Margie) Barlow, Tim (Norma) Barlow, Debra (Lee) Breinholt, Wesley (Kelly) Barlow, Belinda (Ron) McFadden, Jennifer (Dan) Realing, Bonnie Trujillo, Wayland Barlow, sister Annavon Dodge, brother Neal Westwood along with 47 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 14 great, great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her companion Elroy Taylor Barlow Sr., her granddaughter Mandy Barlow and great grandson Braxton Andrew Bird, her parents, and four brothers. A Viewing will be held January 22nd at the Church of Jesus Christ meeting house at 2450 West 10400 South, South Jordan Utah from 10:30-11:30 followed immediately by a funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Special thanks to Tim and Noma Barlow for allowing us to invade their home the last weeks of Mom’s life. We also want to thank all the brothers, sisters and grandkids who all assisted as Mom passed. And finally, we would like to thank Hospice and the many nurses and workers who were so helpful and kind in their assistance.
