Edna Jean Garbett Known to all as Jean Garbett (81) passed away peacefully on November 18, 2023 at home with her husband Ronnie Ben Garbett lovenly by her side.

Born August 14, 1942 born to Robert and Edna Manookin, Jean lived her life in Salt Lake City, Utah with her many siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends near by.

She was Beautiful physically, emotionally and spiritually. Her love of life and others was seen in her generosity and her Artworks. She was so very talented. She created paintings of landscapes, wildlife and portraits. She was always so pleased to present her artworks to others as gifts. There is nothing she wouldn't do for a loved one, a friend or anyone in need.

She loved children and taught Primary for 20 years and also had a great love of music. Jean's favorite song that was written for her by her father Robert Park Manookin was called "My Jean".

She Loved Her Dogs

She will be remembered for all the love she shared with her husband, friends and family. She truly loved each of them.

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 beginning at 1 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located on 3930 6000 West, West Valley City, Utah 84128. A Viewing will be held prior to the service at 12:00 PM at the same location. Interment will follow after the service at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery located on 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
