I'm sorry to hear this. As a new teacher in the Salt Lake City School District Jan was my first Principal at Hawthorne Elementary School. With all the difficulties and concerns of a new teacher I was always appreciative of her help and support. She really came through and advocated for me when I was transferred to a different school. After a short while she also moved on and we lost contact. I often wondered what had happened to her. I'm happy to know she enjoyed her life, but am saddened by the fact it was too short. Blessings Jan.
