Jamie Bertoch
October 19, 1978 – February 6, 2021
Our sweet angel has returned to heaven. On Saturday, February 6, Jamie earned her wings as she was surrounded by family. She leaves this earth much better than she found it, touching everyone that had the pleasure of meeting her.
Jamie was born October 19, 1978 in West Valley to Kelly and Susan Bertoch, who never backed down in their efforts to provide the world for Jamie. Jamie had a personality that could light up the world. She will be missed tremendously by anyone that knew her. Her spirit can be felt anytime you see a smile or hear a giggle.
She is survived by her parents and immediate family… Tyler (brother), Melissa, Aylie, Maya, and Harper; Brooke (sister), Cheyenne, Cody, Brody, Cheylee, and grandmother Beth Mantle. As well as so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family that we could take up the entire internet listing them all. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Phil & Carol Bertoch and Richard Mantle, as well as other extended family members that were waiting for her “surprise” party on the other side.
Thank you to all of the caregivers that have helped Jamie throughout her life.
An “open house” celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 27 between 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 3665 S. 6000 W. in West Valley City (84128). COVID protocols (distancing and masks) are expected to be followed.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that you simply smile and be kind to a stranger, to love others like Jamie loved everyone.
