Jackie Thompson Sadler, 60, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, after a short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on March 23, 1965, in Ogden, Utah, to John (“Jack”) and Mary Thompson, who lovingly welcomed their fourth daughter.

Jackie grew up surrounded by the warmth and laughter of her sisters—Karen, Ann and Judie. Their lifelong bond was one of deep friendship, shared adventures, and cherished memories.

She married the love of her life, Tim Sadler, and together they built a life filled with joy, humor, and devotion. Jackie was a devoted mother to her children, Coy, Josh and grandson Tylor, whom she lovingly raised. Being a grandma was one of the greatest joys of her life. She adored her grandchildren, Maya, Odie, Tyler and Zoey, and embraced each of them with unwavering love, delighting in the special bond she shared with every one of them.

Jackie loved being outdoors. She enjoyed family camping trips, road trips, boating and waterskiing, and anything that allowed her to explore new places and create lasting

memories. Throughout her life, she called many states home—Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Nevada, Washington, and most recently a ranch in Montana. She often shared stories from her life on the ranch—runaway cows, flying chickens, newborn calves warming in her kitchen, and her beloved horse, Applejack. These stories captured her spirit, resourcefulness, humor, and compassion.

Jackie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her warmth, generosity, and unshakeable love for her family will be forever cherished and never forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Sadler; sons, Coy (Melody) Snyder, and Joshua (Brandy) Sadler and a daughter. Grandchildren, Tylor Snyder, Maya Garcia-Snyder,

Odin Garcia-Snyder, and Zoey Callenbach. Sisters, Karen Cartie, Ann (Dana) Hovorka, and Judie (Mark) McDonald. Many nieces and nephews who loved Aunt Jackie. Preceded in death, parents John (Jack) and Mary Thompson and brother-in-law Loyd Cartie.

A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held. Please contact a family member for additional information.
