Iretta Withers Thaxton, age 86, of Riverton, UT. The daughter of the late Richard and Annie Withers, left her frail body on October 11, 2023. She was born on June 12, 1937, in Murray, UT and was raised in Draper, UT. Iretta was a creative and loving individual, known for her wit and generosity. She had a caring and social nature, always engaging in lively conversations.

Iretta had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, oil painting, and all things crafty. Her artistic talents were evident in her beautiful creations.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bart, and their children Shawna (Ron), Ronda (Reid), Lori, Boyd (Kristi), and Kendall (Heather). Iretta also leaves behind her sister, Dona, as well as 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was the youngest of 10 siblings and was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

The viewing for Iretta will take place on Sunday October 22, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and on Monday October 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, at Broomhead Funeral Home located at 12600 South 2200 West Riverton, UT 84065. A service to celebrate her life will follow on October 23, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
