Irene Bertha Malone

On November 10, 2021, Irene Bertha Malone passed away at St. Marks Hospital. Many surviving family members and friends are deeply saddened that she is no longer with us. We are also so grateful that she blessed each of our lives with so much love and so many happy memories, she truly was one of a kind, so loving, so giving, and so silly.

It brings all of us peace and comfort to know that she is now reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Eugene Raymond Malone, along with many other loved ones that passed on before her that she missed dearly.

Irene had three daughters with Eugene; Cathleen Martinez, Beverly Ulibarri, and Windy Allred. Together they had 11 grandchildren (oldest to youngest) Anthony Martinez, R.C. Call (Brittany), Joseph Ulibarri (Lacreaa), Shauna Martinez (Wilmer), Talia Ulibarri (Daniel), Tawny Ulibarri, Whitney Allred (Matthew Brooks), Shydell Martinez, Terra Allred (Robert) Tiffany Allred (Corbin) and Tessa Ulibarri (Angela).

Irene was also blessed to be here on earth to welcome 21 great grandchildren into the world, and soon there will be 22 great grandbabies (oldest to youngest) Isacc, Ashlee, Rosalinda, Angelo, Payton, Aliyah, Kamrun, Necessidi, Robert, Taj, Desstani, Eliana, Ethan, Nico, Myah, Trivee, Melek, Uniqek, Leah, Zerenity, and Hazley.

Irene will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, cousin, auntie and friend. She loved Wendover, watching movies, and spending time with her family. We all love you so much, more than words can express. Until we meet again, keep the Koolaid made XO.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and again on Monday from 12 noon to 1:45 PM prior to the services. Interment will follow at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
